PlayerData’s Community Fund

PlayerData pledge £50,000 towards helping underrepresented and underfunded sporting communities

19/10/2022 update - Community Fund now closed to new applications.

Here at PlayerData, we are passionate about building a community for everyone. Our mission is to revolutionise the way athletes train by giving everyone access to their performance data. With technology, we will bridge the gap while building a place for all athletes to come together with their shared passion.

To support our mission, we have launched our Community Fund and pledged £50,000 towards helping underrepresented and underfunded sporting communities get additional support to level up and ultimately level out the playing field.

This year, the founding year of our fund, we are committed to increasing the number of women and girls teams getting access to elite-level tech to help improve their game. Our Community Fund has £50,000 set aside to be applied against subscriptions to our service for teams that meet the eligibility criteria.

This money will go towards providing technology to women and girls teams across the UK and Ireland to help them enhance their game and level the playing field.

“PlayerData provides industry leading GPS technology, incorporating advanced specifications that cater to the whole team and we at Hibernian FC Girls Academy are delighted to partner with such an innovative and refreshing organisation. This exciting partnership will assist the next generation of players, allowing them access to performance enhancing data.”
Joelle Murray, Hibernian Girls and Women’s Academy Manager

How Does It Work?

Eligible clubs will receive confirmation of the amount the Fund will support them. This money can be used to gain access to PlayerData’s EDGE - the GPS subscription enabling clubs to analyse their performance data. The funding will be automatically applied to the club’s invoice should the club choose to sign up to EDGE.

Am I Eligible?

All registered women and girls teams participating in football, rugby, hockey or GAA across the UK and Ireland are eligible. You must be registered with the relevant association or governing body. The Fund is applicable to clubs and teams only, no organisations or businesses are eligible.
