Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation Debuts PlayerData’s Groundbreaking Indoor System

Air Force football is the latest in a series of high-profile programs to select PlayerData for performance tracking.

Long known as one of the most respected programs in college football, Air Force has become one of the first teams to install PlayerData’s new indoor performance tracking system. The system allows Air Force to train smarter, monitor load, track progress for all of their athletes, and further facilitate a culture of accountability and competition.

To date, tracking sports performance metrics has required a GPS signal outdoors or a costly and cumbersome installation of a fixed local positioning system. PlayerData’s new system completely changes the game, allowing teams to accurately track key metrics like speed, distance, accelerations, and decelerations indoors at a fraction of the cost of current products in the market.

“It’s incredible seeing an iconic college football program like Air Force adopt our technology,” said Roy Hotrabhvanon. “The team has worked hard developing a workflow and user experience to support the unique football environment. We know that innovation will have a major impact on the sport and are excited to be at the forefront of that movement.”

PlayerData’s revolutionary new indoor system expands the impact PlayerData can have across the sports landscape, opening new possibilities across indoor sports like basketball as well.

Along with the option of a fixed installation, PlayerData is also releasing a first-of-its kind portable indoor system that easily fits inside of a backpack. To learn more about PlayerData Indoor, you can request a demo here.
