At Davidson College, head football coach Saj Thakkar is committed to building a program that is both high academic and high character. As part of this, Thakkar hosts the renowned National Academic Camp. This camp features over 200 prospects who get a chance to show what they're capable of in front of a number of college coaches from many of the top academic institutions in the country.

At this year's camp, Davidson outfitted all the participants with PlayerData. This allowed the players to access their metrics and share them with college coaches.

"We have a lot of good players who are great students on our boards," said Coach Thakkar. " The more data we have that's relative to playing football and not just 'can you run a fast 40 with no football?' Or 'can you jump high?' I think the metrics we get from PlayerData translate to us being able to make decisions of who's going to be able to correlate and play for us on Saturdays."
