After years of development, we’ve officially released two new products as part of our mission to democratize and revolutionize player tracking technology in sports. 

First up is the groundbreaking Edge Air Tracker. 

Edge Air is an upgrade to our award winning GPS wearable. It’s half the size of anything in-market, FIFA Quality certified, has a 10-hour GPS battery life per charge and combines Global Positioning System (GPS), Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), and Local Positioning System (LPS) capabilities all into one unit.

The Edge Air truly represents a generational leap in this category by combining indoor and outdoor tracking in a single unit. We’ve also managed to keep this product available at an accessible price point, a feat that seemed almost impossible not long ago.

Additionally, since travel is such a big part of the sports landscape, we’ve remained committed to innovating in such a way that makes all of our products easy to transport. With our Edge Air tracker, coaches can fit the 30-unit carrying case into the seat back pocket on an airplane.

In simple terms, it provides instant access to easily understood insights that take the guesswork out of practice planning, recruiting, and game day tactics. It allows teams to accurately track essential metrics like distance, top speed, sprints, accelerations, decelerations, workload, and more. From Premier League academies in the UK to high major NCAA football programs in the States and everything in between, our tech has become an integral part of over 1,500 clubs across levels and sports globally, helping to ensure athletes are working smarter and at their best when it matters most.

Edge Air comes with sport native in-app experiences and is available for an array of sports including soccer, football, basketball, lacrosse, field hockey, rugby, and volleyball… to start. Coaches also have the option to pair the Edge Air with our portable PlayerData Connect receiver to access outdoor GPS metrics live during gameplay or training.
